Louise joined Lincoln Smile Centre in 2006. She began her Dental Nursing career in 1991 and qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant in 1997 at the People’s College in Nottingham.

Louise also qualified as an Oral Health Educator in 2006 at Leeds University and is able to advise patients on Oral Health when Treatment Co-ordinating and finds this role very rewarding. She has also undergone training in taking dental impressions under the prescription of a dentist.

Although since Covid she hasn’t had the opportunity, when Louise gets the time, she enjoys her role as the practice Treatment Co-ordinator. She finds it very rewarding discussing patients treatment plans with them and explaining dental procedures. She hopes to return to this role when her current schedule quietens down.

After many years as a Dental Nurse Louise still enjoys her role and continues to develop her career.

Outside of work Louise enjoys walking, cycling, reading, cooking and family time.
