Amy graduated with Distinction from the University of Leeds in 2008 in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Over the past 15 years, she has had the privilege of caring for a wide range of patients, from those with complex dental needs to individuals who feel particularly anxious about treatment. Her calm, compassionate approach has helped create a comfortable experience for every patient.

Amy has a particular passion for periodontal treatment and has undertaken training in the use of Straumann Emdogain FL which may be of interest to patients who are wishing to try and regenerate lost periodontal support.

In 2022, Amy was honoured to receive the Patient Care Award by Chrysalis Finance. This was a proud moment for Amy that reflected her commitment to putting patients at the heart of what she does.

In March 2024, Amy trained in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and now follows the GBT protocol using the EMS Airflow Prophylaxis Master. She strongly believes in its gentle yet highly effective approach, which allows her to deliver thorough treatment while keeping patient comfort a top priority. Amy also has a keen interest in systemic health and oral health and focuses her care on not just supporting a healthy mouth but also overall wellbeing.

Outside of the practice, Amy is a busy mum who loves to stay active with body pump and combat classes, exploring new places with her children and indulging her passion for home interiors.
