Kerry graduated with a distinction from the University of Sheffield in June 2020 in Hygiene and Therapy. She has been working within the dental profession for more than twenty years, with experience in both dental nursing and managerial roles but it was always her long-term goal to become a clinician herself and provide dental care for her own patients.

Kerry believes in treating patients holistically, tailoring patients’ dental care to their needs as individuals, whilst supporting them in maintaining optimal levels of oral care. Knowing that prevention is key, Kerry always tries to work with patients in a friendly and practical manner. She prides herself on having the ability to empathise and relate to patients who perhaps may feel more nervous than others about a visit to the dental setting. She will always proceed with a gentle, relaxed and methodical approach to patient care.

Kerry gained a wealth of knowledge and practical skills from Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield, seeing patients with advanced gum disease, complex medical requirements, head and neck cancers, as well as orthodontic and paediatric cases. Kerry is committed to lifelong learning and continues to extend her knowledge and skill set by attending study days and courses.

Kerry grew up in Lincolnshire and is fond of the area, she lives in a quiet village with her husband, two school-aged children, and three adored house cats (Pixie the Burmese, Daisy the Bengal and Miko the Sphinx). Kerry’s interests include home interiors and home cooking, an eclectic mix of music, enjoying the local countryside, poetry, time with her friends, and of course anything teeth!
