Jane joined the practice in 1999. She qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1989 at University College Hospital, London. After further study at the University of Liverpool, she qualified as a Dental Therapist in 2002 enabling further treatment options including the taking of radiographs.
She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and enjoys attending seminars, workshops, online courses and webinars to keep up to date with current concepts and to comply with the general Dental council’s continuing professional development requirements.
Jane is passionate about prevention!
In recent years hygienists have had new guidelines on how to prevent and treat periodontal disease (gum disease), by helping our patients obtain excellent oral health, we now know can optimise general health. With this in mind oral health sessions are tailored to each individual, working together to help achieve this.
